Pushups no longer make me sore but they are still DEFINITELY wearing me down. I am noticing slight stresses building in my shoulders and arms. I will have to be careful training this intensely, stretching before and after pushups and taking them slow...This will ultimately take longer and make them harder but I must not sacrifice the overall health of my body for laziness. I am used to this type of pain though. I experienced it another time when I went on a handstand campaign to walk down a parking garage flight each night early this fall...I did see dramatic improvements in my handstands, but I nearly got the equivalent of shin splints in my wrists...not good.
I am most excited about getting into the gym tomorrow night. Stay tuned for a full report of my first day after the break back at it!!!
