At the gym today, Jerred and I worked one-footed fronts from small amounts of height...standing! You REALLY have to punch hard, kick hard, and push off hard at just the right angle to do it, but when you get it, it feels AMAZING.
I also worked on backflip fulltwist. It has been about six weeks since I last worked on it, so they didn't go as awesome as I had hoped. Most frustrating of all is that I knew I was forgetting some revelation that I had had last time. Thankfully I now how this blog/training journal to keep track of it! The key is twisting right before you leave (simple physics)...you PUNCH with one arm and ELBOW with the other REALLY HARD while throwing the flip...and then it should be easy! ;) I am dying to get into the gym again to work on it.
Other exciting developments include our continuing progress to film tutorials, which will hopefully be available sometime soon!
Healing is going well, but it is a slow process indeed.
